Super excited to share these pics, this was one of my most favorite newborn sessions, because it's so Austin! Musically talented gorgeous young family (screams Austin)... we had alot of fun last year and it was even more fun recreating the same portrait set up. It was so cool seeing him in the same props, a year later. I think as a parent, this makes the photos even more special. This is a great example of why sticking with the same photographer can be so fun. Even if your family/friend starts a photography gig, they won't have the same style/props to keep memories flowing together to make unique matching portraits with age progressions.

Anyone and everyone can take great pictures, but there is something so magical about seeing your child then and now in such a neat creative way! Talk about the main attraction in your home, when you have a LIFE story on your wall of your sweet child(ren).

This was one of my first NEWBORN sessions and still one of my most favorite. I have taken many classes and workshops, even swapping out my gear and using top of the line equipment. If you combining this with training from some the best nationally known photographers, I can create the most magical artist portraits for my clients. (my most favorite part)

I really love what I do and the people I meet!

So, wild seeing the then and now of one of my most favorite babies ever, but using new equipment/skills/techniques just made it that much more amazing!

What a busy few weeks after taking a break!!! I had three newborns in one week, with siblings and then shot two toddlers. I am swimming in cuteness... can't wait to work on the toddler pics!

I haven't had a chance to blog in a while and hope to do so more often. I had the pleasure of photographing two sweet girls recently and here is a sneak at how fun they are... this session was amazing, This sweet princess loved her session so much. Mom and I had a blast and I can't believe how many poses we got to do. I had so many good ones, it made holding back so hard... her eyes are amazing the more light I got in her eyes the bluer they became. So sweet....

What a great session this was, we had a lot of fun and stomped all over the place! He is super talented, out of state competing right now. I've had the pleasure and honor of photographing a few young rising musicians, Megan Rae was one of my first and it's been so neat watching her this past year. She's performed around town with some members of Blue October... how cool is that?!!!

Good luck to the BragBiz Rising Stars..... So, proud to capture these times in your life!

We've also had the pleasure of photographing private parties for prom around town... what fun this has been, it was a big project for me, as I typically do not book large parties or events. I decided with the help of a talented friend, I would go for it. I loved it, it was a lot of work and brief moments of stress, I am still catching up! Will I decide to book events?.. not sure, but looking forward to testing the waters again soon!

This group was a ton of fun and had a big crowd of loved ones watching there big moment.. we were there till the limo arrived!

I've had the pleasure of doing a teen session the the daughter. Thank you "P" family for the opportunity to photograph your entire beautiful family!... and big THANK YOU for helping me pull off some creative ideas with the session!!

This was one of the hardest sneak peaks to put together, mostly because of all the locations we visited! We went to an old favorite spot of mine (thanks to my favorite photographer EVER, Elle!! ;) for sharing this with me last spring). We did not have plans to stop here, but while passing by on the way to the final location. I was shocked to notice the place was completely empty, allowing much more fun to be had!!! Sad to see it close and a little worried of what will replace (not so sure they'll keep it like it is, prime location biz wise :).. SOOOO if you like these shots and want to meet me there!, CALL OR EMAIL ASAP

Anyway, we ended a very popular landmark (if you will) in Austin Texas..leading to BEAUTIFUL Lake Travis! Amazing Session

A NEW YEAR….. NEW CLIENTS, NEW IDEAS, NEW EQUIPMENT, NEW PROPS… EVERYTHING'S NEW this year!!!!!!

I'm super excited about this year… big NEW plans! After ending last year overwhelmed, stressed, and behind on everything… I decided to take a full month off to get refocused and refreshed (didn't even pick my camera up). I enjoyed lots of family time, hanging with my boys with lots and lots of home cooking. I thought about my goals, inspirations, ideas, wants, needs, etc… personal and professional!

I have decided to do things a bit different this year! My most important job in life is being a good mother to my children. Getting too busy, took that away…. I took on too much last year! Not only did I neglect my loved ones and my home. I was getting a little burnt out! I can't make my magic, feeling this way!

Soooo… I will be limiting my sessions and being a bit selective in the process! This will also mean deposits before booking sessions. I can not keep reserving dates for people, to only have them not show or reschedule at the very last minute.

We have lots of exciting projects in the works here at BragBiz. New Photographers joining the team…. New equipment… New Contests…. Extended galleries… Private gallery and blog (invite only and a sign up coming soon)…. AND MUCH MORE for BragBiz this year!!! Keep watching!

I will also be revamping my website, prices and information. I can't wait to share more of the BragBiz history! Almost 10 years now!!

My holiday sessions were kept private… I will be updating the website gallery in the next two weeks with some of these pics (at client's request we did not blog or add to the Facebook page).

Thought I'd give this a try... I seem to have so much to say and no one to say it too, so why not blog. I'm a mother of 3 boys living in Texas. I love my kids and my life and pray it continues.
